Afro Asian Cultural Museum is the only museum of its kind which caters to international students and their cultures. The motto of Symbiosis is “Vasudhaiv Kutumbakam”, the world is one family. Numerous foreign students have contributed to this museum before leaving for their home countries. We intend to acquaint the Symbiosis students with diverse Afro Asian cultures spread across the world. In Symbiosis these students study, dine and play together because of which a sense of brotherhood is developed among them.

Symbiosis was started way back in 1971 by Dr. S. B. Mujumdar to solve the problems of foreign students. In Indian Culture, a guest is worshipped like a God. All these foreign students are our guests. They return to their own countries as the unofficial ambassadors of goodwill. The museum will be enriched day by day with their cooperation and support.

I request the Indian as well as foreign students should visit the museum where they can enjoy and could see the artifacts of various Afro Asian countries and understand their culture.
